Warring Passions

Why do I strife within myself?
My passions is a war in me
My unachieved desires causes me
To murder every of my attractive achievement
And it's really difficult to obtain....
Some fella's stuff I covet
So I fight to get everyone of it
But the best isn't what I get
To God I went for the best
He let me go
He said "no"
He's never giving me for a show!!

If we allow warring passions in us, we'd just find ourselves getting to covet some others' achievement and while being ungrateful for those God has given us, we can't get anything else from him.

What Do I Do?

Really, I don't know what to do!!😣🤨 In the dark and ever lonely times When night takes forever And morn brings light so sheer What do I do? In moments without help For situations that are unclear When I felt God wasn't there What do I do? The things I've tried to do Though they seem close to right Isn't making the day bright But what do I do? An answer comes to mind Can this all my need satisfy?
